JILL YABLON

FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER

Jill Yablon graduated from Wharton Undergraduate Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, earning a BS in Economics with a major in Finance. She is a Lauder Institute graduate with dual degrees: an MA in International Studies from University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Wharton Graduate School.

Jill Yablon began her career as a financial analyst for Goldman, Sachs & Co. While a grad student, Jill pursued her passion for fashion and retail, working for Conde Nast International and W magazines. After business school, she worked in the media, consumer and retailing group for McKinsey. She was hired by Time Warner to pioneer their e-commerce endeavors. She subsequently worked at AOL’s content development arm, Greenhouse Studios, doing business development, joint ventures and content creation for AOL. She relocated back to NYC to become VP Marketing at Barnesandnoble.com, just at the outset of Amazon entering the online book sale market and held this position until she moved to Greenwich, taking off time to raise her kids. During these years, she stayed engaged in e-commerce, doing consulting projects for start-up companies and also starting a small creative design and photography business. Jill moved back to NYC with her family and returned to the workforce. She joined M3Ventures (now Beliade) a NYC-based venture capital firm focused on early stage investments in the consumer sector, specifically targeting youth culture and healthy living, as partner. Her passion for consumer brands, style and wellness, combined with her career in e-commerce, business development, corporate strategy, growth initiatives, and marketing partnerships, uniquely positions her as an asset to anyone making early to growth stage investments. She is enthusiastically focused on entrepreneurship, researching and assessing innovative ideas and companies and leveraging her diverse network of relationships to identify high-growth trends. She is proactive in supporting portfolio companies, working closely with the founders to provide strategic expertise and guidance to help support and grow their businesses.

Currently, Jill lives in NYC. She is a Board member of the University of Pennsylvania’s libraries, Board Member of Wharton's Baker Retailing Center and on the Advisory Board of the Dubin Breast Cancer Center.
